I have recorded all of these sounds over several years with a digital pocket recorder with a directional microphone. The quality of the recordings is most often fair (with some background noise), while some are pretty good and fewer are poor. The lack of quality of the device is made up by its convenience—it's easy to carry along, and therefor, most always ready to record. This is a work in progress and more recordings are being made.
